Natural Wonders of Borneo
Bandar Seri Begawan, 28 May 2007 - Golden Frontier Travel Network has just released a 3days/2nights Kota Kinabalu overland tours
scheduled to depart Bandar Seri Begawan on Wednesday 20 June 2007, and returning on Friday 22 June 2007.
This is the first of several tour expeditions under the 'Natural Wonders of Borneo' series developed by Golden Frontier in collaboration with
partner operators in Sabah and Sarawak. 'Natural Wonders of Borneo' will be expanded to feature major eco-tourist
attractions of Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Sarawak in Borneo, with Bandar Seri Begawan serving as the primary entry and expedition departure
point, as well as an ideal stop over destination for international tourists.
For only B$318 based on twinsharing room, a tour participant will enjoy scenic overland coach journey passing through the east Malaysian
states of Sarawak and Sabah, arriving in Kota Kinabalu in the late afternoon. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant will be served. Rest of the
evening free at leisure. The following day's itinerary includes visits to Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring. Lunch provided. Later in the evening
tour participants will enjoy dinner with cultural show at a local restaurant. The following day will be free for participants to explore Kota Kinabalu
on their own. Lunch provided before return trip to Bandar Seri Begawan.

Saving the Heart of Borneo
Bali, Indonesia, 12 Feb 2007 – An historic declaration to conserve the “Heart of Borneo” has been
signed between the three Bornean governments – Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and
Malaysia. The tri-country declaration will conserve and sustainably manage one
of the most important centres of biological diversity in the world, covering approximately
220,000 square kilometres of equatorial rainforests – almost a third of the island.
